Kevin scored two goals, of the AC Milan's 3 - 0 win on Wednesday, against Dutch PSV, which qualified the club for the champions league. Despite playing in the match, he is still qualified to play for  Schalke in the CL, according to the Uefa rules, because the matches against PSV were preliminary play-off.

Boateng, who in 2011 announced that he was retiring from international football, has come out of his retirement to play for Ghana again. Infact he is listed among the players, to play against Zambia on the 6th of September, in the World Cup qualification decider match.
