Suarez joins team in Aussie

The liverpool's Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez (26) who wants to leave the club he joined a couple of seasons from Ajax Amsterdam, flew in today in Melbourne, to join his team in their pre-season preparation.

Since the end of last season he has been saying that he wants to leave the premier league because the media hates him. But Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, has been insisting that the player is not for sale. And he expected him to report back to camp after his vacation.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him, he's a player I've always supported, I understand the situation, but the bottom line is he is employed by the club".

"The money goes into his bank at the end of every month, so he should be here. If he's not, which I doubt, there will be a problem," the coach concluded.

So Suarez joining the team today will be an opportunity for the club and the player to discuss the issue face to face. Arsenal has tendered 35m pound for the player which the club has rejected stating that it was not enough for them to allow their prize possession to leave.

Rodgers claimed that the club will only sell him at the right price of 55m pound. He said that the player is among the best strikers in the world and will not sell less than that.

During the just concluded Confederation Cup in Brasil, which the host nation won, he reitrated his desire to leave. He was with Uruguayan national team, which got to the semi final of the tournament. After the tournament was over, his club gave him two weeks vacation. Now that he is back we are all waiting to see what will happen, whether he will finally leave or stay.

It was reported that Arsenal are preparing to increase their offer to 40m pound. We all know that buying and selling players is a dancing game played by both teams, each looking for a price that will suit their club.

All we can do is to keep on watching for what will happen.
