Luis Enrique Is The New Barcelona Coach

The former Barcelona attacking midfielder Luis Enrique (44), has been appointed the new Barcelona head coach, on a two year contract, after the Spanish giants finished the season without winning any trophy.

Mr Enrique will be taking over from the Argentine, Mr Gerardo Martino (51), who had a very disappointing first season in charge of the Catalan team. Martino resigned after the club's worst season in six years.

Barcelona's chance of winning a title this season was dependent on them winning their last match, while their opponents - the league leader Atletico Madrid, needed just a draw to clinch the title.
