There are four English clubs and four German clubs, with one of each being drawn in a group. For example in group A, Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen. In group D, the defending champions Bayern Munchen and Manchester City.

Also in group E, you have Chelsea and Schalke 04 together, while in group F, you have Arsenal and last season finalist Borussia Dortmund.
One thing that all the groups has in common, is that each group contain at least one former champion, except group H where all four were former champions.
